What can IWT do for you ?

Our mission within the Enterprise Europe Network is: to bring together knowledge, innovative development and people in Europe to stimulate innovation and enhance the competitivness of its customers. Thus IWT continues a long tradition as Innovation Relay Centre (IRC-Flanders).

IWT can help you with:

  • Technology market (see Technology Market)
    We distribute opportunities for innovation partnering and technology transfer via our electronic platform, the Technology Market, where supply and demand can meet. Registered users can subscribe to a personalised e-mail newsletter with relevant opportunities and interesting partnering events in the chosen field(s).

     

  • Personalised innovation partner search (see Technology Market)
    We assist you in your search for European partners for the exchange of knowledge or commercialisation of new technologies. This saves you time and money.

    To prepare for a European partner search a technology profile (request or offer) is formulated.
    This profile is distributed anonymously and free of charge within the European network. The IWT advisors draw up this profile with you and will actively search for potential partners. As a start you can fill in this form for a technology request (.doc) or technology offer (.doc).

     

  • Company meetings and missions (see events)
    We invite you for international company meetings, missions or other events organised by Enterprise Europe Flanders or by our European network partners. These often take place in the context of a trade fair relevant for your sector or in co-operation with other organisations. Participating in the events and missions organised by the Enterprise Europe Network allows you to meet many potential partners in a very short timespan.

     

The IWT-advisors help you to get into contact with the most interesting partners. They are at your disposal during the whole negotiation course, to help you where needed. We follow-up contacts and give advise on reaching a partnership agreement with your innovation partners. The added value for companies, especially SME's, is the (free) personalised support, follow-up of contacts and advise on reaching a partnership agreement. The international networking of the Enterprise Europe Network offers companies a clear added value (time and money) as opposed to looking for international partners all by yourself.

One of the goals of the Enterprise Europe Network is to involve more SME's in the European programs for research and innovation. To this end we work together with the National Contact Points, a service which in Flanders is also handled by the IWT (Europrogs website).
